How To Set up an email address:

To set up an email address, you must know your login info for your existing email address.
On the Home screen or in the "Setup" folder, click the "Setup Wizard" icon.
Select "Email Setup". On the Email Setup screen, select the following:

• I want to create or add an email address. Use this option to link your BlackBerry with one or more existing email addresses or to create a new email address.

This could include Gmail^™ or Windows Live^™ Hotmail^® email accounts.
To use a social networking application on your phone, you must set up the same email address on your phone that you use to receive social networking notifications.
Click "Next".
Complete the instructions on the screen.
To view and manage your email messages, from the Home screen, click the "Messages" icon.
To send and receive email you must have an add-on that includes email service.

How to send an email message:

On the Home screen, click on the "Messages" icon.
Press the button.
Select "Compose Email".
In the "To" field, you must

• type an email address;
• type a contact name;
• type part of a contact name or email address, then choose a contact or email address.

Type your subject and message.
Press the button.
Click "Send".

You will need to download and install this application before you use it for the first time. Please refer to Downloading Applications for instructions.

Type in your login info.
Select "Login".
Follow the instructions below to set up and begin using Facebook on your BlackBerry:

1. In your Facebook profile, you'll need to change your email address to an email address that you use with your BlackBerry.
• Change your Facebook email address now
2. Choose which Facebook notifications you want to receive on your BlackBerry.
• Change your notification settings now

Now that you've set up your Facebook account for your BlackBerry, you're ready to begin posting, poking, tagging and more!

• In the "Application" folder, select the "Facebook" icon. Enter your Facebook login information, then click Login.
• To set your status, press the Menu key on the notification list screen. Click View Status Updates , then enter your status. Click Update , followed by the Menu key, then Close.
• Write on a wall by first pressing the Menu key on the notification list screen. Click Write on a Wall , then begin entering a friend's name. When the friend's name appears, click on it, then click Continue . Type the wall message, then click Post.
• Visit the Facebook mobile site by first pressing the Menu key on the notification list screen. After that, click on Go to Mobile Site . To return to Facebook for BlackBerry, simply press the Escape key.

How to set up a Twitter account:

• If you already have a Twitter account, you can use your existing login info to log into Twitter on your BlackBerry.
• To create a Twitter account, sign up from the application or visit twitter.com

How to log in to Twitter on your BlackBerry:

• In the Downloads folder, select the "Twitter" icon.
• If you already have a Twitter account, type in your login info, then select "Login".
• If you do not have a Twitter account, select "Sign Up".
• To log out, press the button, click "Options" and then click "Logout".

To import your Microsoft^® Outlook^® address book to your BlackBerry® Internet Service address book, complete the following:

• First, export the Microsoft Outlook Address Book to a CSV file:
1. In Microsoft Outlook, from the File menu, select Import and Export
• The Import and Export Wizard is displayed
2. Select Export to a file, then click Next
3. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows®), then click Next

If a message window appears asking you to install the Import/Export engine, you might need the Microsoft® Office CD to complete this task

4. In the Export to a File window, select the Contacts folder that contains your address book
5. Click Next, then click Browse
6. In the Browse window, choose a location where you want to save the CSV file
7. In the File name field, type a file name with a .csv extension, then click OK
8. Click Next > Finished

The CSV file is created

• Once you've completed the preceding steps, import the CSV file into BlackBerry Internet Service:
1. Connect to the BlackBerry Internet Service website and log in to your BlackBerry account
2. Click the Address Book link
3. On the navigation bar, click Import
4. Click Browse
5. In the Choose File window, browse to the location where you saved the CSV file
6. Select the CSV file and click Open
7. Click Add

Your Microsoft Outlook address book contacts appear in your BlackBerry Internet Service address book

Some Bluetooth devices have a passkey that you must enter on your phone before you can sync them. You can find the passkey in the instruction manual for your Bluetooth device.

• On the Home screen, select "Options".
• Select "Bluetooth".
• If the top of the screen says "Bluetooth: Disabled", press the button and select "Enable Bluetooth".
• Press the button and select "Add Device".
• Click "Search" or "Listen".
• Select your Bluetooth device from the list.
• Select "Yes" when you are asked if you want to pair the device.
• You may need to type the passkey for the Bluetooth device on your BlackBerry.
