Koodo Apple TV+ Subscription Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your Apple TV+ (“Apple TV+”) subscription with Koodo.
  1. Apple TV+ is a service mark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. Apple TV+ is a video subscription service that allows subscribers to stream certain video content on compatible devices via the Apple TV app or the tv.apple.com website. Apple TV+ account activation required. Visit tv.apple.com to see programming availability and regular pricing, which is subject to change without notice. Your use of Apple TV+ is subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, available at https://www.apple.com/ca/legal/internet-services/itunes/ca/terms.html which is an agreement between you and Apple Inc. Please ensure you read and understand that agreement before subscribing to Apple TV+ through Koodo. You acknowledge that your use of the Apple TV+ service is subject to Apple Inc.   2. Minimum Requirements: To use Apple TV+ you must have a compatible device in accordance with the Apple TV+ Subscriber Agreement. You must set up a Koodo account through Self Serve in order to subscribe and manage your Apple TV+ subscription through Koodo. Apple TV+ is offered as a standalone subscription for existing Koodo customers. If you are a Canadian Koodo customer who is 13+ you can subscribe to Apple TV+ on koodomobile.com. Compatible products and services required. Ultra high-definition availability is subject to rate plan selection, internet service, device capability and content availability. Not all content is available in 4K or 4K HDR. 4K resolution requires a 4K‑capable device. Accessing Dolby Atmos features requires a Dolby Atmos–capable system. Playback quality will depend on hardware and internet connection. Existing Apple TV+ subscription or new subscription activation required.
  3. Activation: Once you sign up for an Apple TV+ subscription through Koodo Self Serve, you will receive an activation email prompting you to activate your subscription with Apple TV+. The steps to activate your subscriptions are outlined below:
    1. A link in the email will take you to Koodo Self Serve, where you must log-in using your existing Koodo credentials. You can also navigate directly to activate Apple TV+ via the "Manage Subscriptions" link on the “Thank You” page that appears after order is complete if there is a delay in receiving the email.
    2. You must navigate to the “Subscriptions” page where you will see your Apple TV+ subscription listed. You will need to click “Activate Subscriptions'' and then you will be taken to the Apple TV+ site to complete activation by either linking an existing account or creating a new account.
    • If you DO NOT have an existing Apple TV+ account you must create a new account.
    • If you DO have an existing Apple TV+ account, once you have activated your subscription (as detailed above) you must login to the Apple TV+ site using your existing account information, which will link your existing account to your Apple TV+ subscription with Koodo. If you do not wish to link your existing Apple TV+ subscription, then you will have to create a new Apple TV+ account (as detailed above), both subscriptions will run concurrently and you will be charged for each subscription.
  4. Billing:
    Billing for your existing Apple TV+ subscription will then be transferred to Koodo and Apple will pause their direct billing unless your subscription is provided through Apple One. If you have Apple One, you will continue to be billed directly by Apple for Apple One. For any Apple TV+ inquiries, including billing for Apple One, please visit the Apple TV Support page.
    Apple TV+ no promotional offer
    If you subscribe to Apple TV+ as a standalone subscription you will be charged the current market retail Apple TV+ subscription price plus applicable tax, which will be charged to the credit card that you added on your Koodo Self Serve account. Existing Apple TV+ subscription or new subscription activation required. Your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged every succeeding month until you cancel your Apple TV+ subscription through your Koodo Self Serve account in accordance with the “Cancellation” section below. Kindly note that no bill will be sent to you, monthly charges can be viewed from your Koodo Self Serve account.
    Any additional purchase you may make through the Apple TV+ service will be made directly through the Apple TV app and will not be billed through your Koodo Self Serve account. Requires Apple ID with payment method on file. For additional details, including on billing and changes, please refer to the Koodo Subscriptions Platform Terms of Use, which is part of your agreement with Koodo.
  5. Pre-Existing Subscription: If you have a pre-existing subscription to Apple TV+ directly with Apple prior to signing up with Koodo, you may be able to link your existing account via Koodo Self Serve.
    After you have logged into Koodo Self Serve using your new or existing credentials, you can use the subscriptions page to activate Apple TV+ using the “activate” button. Upon clicking the activate button, you will be able to complete activation by linking your existing account. Activation of the service will pause your current billing with Apple TV, unless your existing subscription is provided through Apple One. Existing Apple TV+ subscription required.
  6. Cancellation: You are able to cancel your Apple TV+ subscription with Koodo at any time through your Koodo Self Serve account. Upon cancellation, your subscription will stay active until the end of your billing period. Koodo may also cancel your Apple TV+ subscription, at our sole discretion without notice to you, if we suspect any fraudulent activity, misuse of your subscription or violation of these terms or any applicable law by you. No refund will be given in case of revocation.
    Please note if you’re a Quebec subscriber, you’ll be able to cancel immediately and will receive a prorated credit.
